Oxygen: Oxidant for converter steelmaking (removes impurities), synergist for blast furnace oxygen-enriched blast (increases output, reduces coke ratio), is the core of steelmaking.
Nitrogen: Protective gas for continuous casting/hot rolling (prevents oxidation of molten steel), equipment purge and cooling medium, safe replacement gas for gas system, plays a protective and auxiliary role.
Argon: Inert stirring gas (makes molten steel composition uniform) and protective gas (prevents oxidation of alloy elements) for special steel smelting, ensuring the quality of high-end steel.

Process description
Air pretreatment: compress and purify the air in the atmosphere (remove impurities such as moisture, carbon dioxide, dust, etc.) to prevent impurities from freezing and clogging equipment in the subsequent low-temperature process.
Cryogenic cooling: cool the purified air to a low temperature below -170℃ through a heat exchanger to make it close to a liquefied state.
Distillation separation: the low-temperature air enters the distillation tower (composed of an upper tower, a lower tower, and an argon tower, etc.), and uses the difference in boiling points of different gases to achieve separation through multiple "evaporation-condensation" cycles in the tower.

FAQ
These gas composition and mechanical impurity indicators are for which raw gas entering your air separation unit. If our gas source composition fluctuates, can the company's equipment adapt?
These are typical indicators of air/process gas sources adapted to air separation units. If your gas source composition fluctuates slightly, our equipment can dynamically adjust and adapt through pre-purification units (such as molecular sieve adsorption, etc.); if the fluctuation is large, you can communicate in advance and we will customize the pretreatment plan.
Which water-using link of the air separation unit does the total hardness, Cl⁻ and other parameters in the water quality requirements correspond to? Do they have a great impact on equipment corrosion?
Mainly corresponds to the cooling, sealing and other water-using links of the air separation unit. The material and anti-corrosion process of our company's equipment have matched these water quality requirements. There will be no obvious corrosion within the normal indicators. If the water quality exceeds the standard, it is recommended to add pretreatment such as softening and desalination.
After your equipment is treated, can it stably meet these medium indicators? Is there any performance degradation problem in long-term operation?
Through precise process design (such as distillation tower, adsorbent selection, etc.) and high-quality components, it can stably meet the standards under normal maintenance.
