Cryogenic liquid oxygen plant process flow:
 

First, air is compressed. Atmospheric air is compressed to a low pressure of 5-7 bar using advanced screw or centrifugal compressors, replacing traditional piston-type equipment and ensuring stable, trouble-free operation.
The air then enters a pre-cooling system, where a low-pressure refrigerant pre-cools the compressed air to approximately 12°C in preparation for subsequent purification.
The air then enters a purifier, where a dual molecular sieve dryer operates alternately to precisely remove carbon dioxide and moisture, preventing impurities from affecting separation efficiency.
The purified air is cooled to -165 to -170°C by a high-efficiency turboexpander, reaching the low-temperature conditions required for liquefaction.
The cooled air then enters a low-pressure finned heat exchanger for further processing before entering an air separation tower, where distillation separates the liquid air from the liquid. The resulting oxygen is 99.6% pure. Nitrogen with a purity of 99.9% (oxygen content ≤ 3 ppm) can also be produced simultaneously, without compromising oxygen production.
